*This is a collaborated post* I love how a tiny bit of seasoning can make a huge difference with the taste of food. There are certain seasonings I always make sure we have in the cupboard and one of those is Schwartz BBQ Seasoning. Before I was even approached about collaborating it was a brand and seasoning that we always use.

Schwartz BBQ Seasoning

The BBQ seasoning by Schwartz can be used in so many ways and with every type of meat, vegetable or meat alternative. I have recently used it a lot with chicken dishes however I often put some in Bolognese sauces, taco meat and on chips. All of my ideas are quick, easy and effortless to make which is perfect when you have young children that need your attention! The BBQ Seasoning adds so much flavour to all the dishes.

Shredded Chicken

Shredded chicken is a fantastic dish that can be used in some many ways. As the main part of the meal, on top of salad, on jacket potatoes. It’s also great to make a huge portion that can then be kept in the fridge for a couple of days or even in the freezer.

Cover Chicken Breasts generously in Schwartz BBQ Seasoning, 4 tablespoons of Worcester Sauce and generous amount of Ketchup or BBQ.

Cover with foil and put in the oven for above 25/30 minutes depending on the size of the chicken breasts.

Ensure the chicken is thoroughly cooked though and remove from the oven

Shred the Chicken on a separate plate before then replacing in the sauce

Return to oven for another 5 minutes and then serve

Airfryer Chicken Fillets

I have recently been given an airfryer and I absolutely love it! I was so wary of using it to begin with and certainly now wish I had one sooner.

Place Chicken Fillets in the Air Fryer. For best results make sure all the fillets are a similar size.

Spray all with Fry Light and cover generously with Schwartz BBQ Seasoning

Cook for 20 minutes ensuring the chicken is thoroughly cooked through

Chicken Drumsticks

Another quick, easy idea for Schwartz BBQ Seasoning that is certainly a firm favourite in my household.

Lay the Chicken Drumsticks in a dish

Cover all with Schwartz BBQ Seasoning

Cook for 20-30 minutes ensuring that the Drumsticks are thoroughly cooked.

You don’t have to but I often turn the drumsticks half way through cooking and cover a little bit more with BBQ Seasoning.

I often serve with Chips or Wedges and a vegetable of choice. Here I have served with Spinach and Mushrooms and home made wedges. We also often have it with rice.

Where to buy?

Schwartz BBQ Seasoning is sold in most Supermarkets including Online at Tescos and retails at £1.60. It is often on a multi buy offer so it is always worth looking out for that!
