The Christmas Tag! -

So what do I love about Christmas? I was tagged by Rose from Bell and Bear in the Christmas Tag which is a few questions about Christmas!

What’s your favourite Christmas movie?

I have so many favourite Christmas movies it’s hard to choose just one! I wrote a post about all the best Christmas movies last week!

Have you ever had a white Christmas?

Not that I can remember!

Where do you usually spend your holiday?

We spend most of it at my Mums. We always go to my Dad’s on Boxing Day. Then one afternoon after Christmas usually either the Sunday after Christmas or one of the bank holiday days we all go to my Aunties and see all my Dad’s side of the family

What is your favourite Christmas song?

Again I have so many favourite Christmas songs! I wrote a post last week as well about my favourite ones!

Do you open any presents on Christmas Eve?

No not usually but funnily enough Babs and I had this discussion last night! We were thinking about when we will actually give Lola her presents! There’s no point us carting her presents with us everywhere as we will just struggle with getting everything back up to the flat! So we were thinking about maybe letting her open one or two on Christmas Eve and the rest once we are back home!

Can you name all of Santa’s reindeer?

Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, Blitzen and Rudolph. Thankfully I remembered the song as I only sang it to Lola a couple of days ago!

Which holiday traditions are you looking forward to this year?

I am so excited about starting new traditions this year with Lola! It’s her first Christmas so it’s extremely exciting!

Is your Christmas tree real or fake?

Ok this is when I confess. We haven’t actually put any decorations up yet! Each weekend I keep saying we must and then it’s Monday morning and we say we will do it at the weekend! I’m not too fussed as it would just consist of Lola pulling everything down! Plus as we’re away all over Christmas I think that it would just be another thing to sort out after Christmas when we already have so much to do! Our Christmas tree though is fake!

What is your all time favourite holiday treat/food/sweet?

Where do I even begin!?! I could write a HUGE list! All of it! The only thing that I don’t like about Christmas food is the fact a lot of the stuff has raisins in! I really don’t like raisins!

Be honest, do you like giving or receiving gifts better?

This is hard! I love love love buying for others especially when I think they are really good presents but then just before I give them I always doubt the presents!

What is the best Christmas present you ever received?

I have received some fantastic Christmas presents. I honestly couldn’t say which has been the best!

What would be your dream place to visit for the holiday season?

I would love to go somewhere hot for Christmas but then I worry that when i’m there it wouldn’t feel like Christmas! I think somewhere like Lapland where it’s snowing would be so magical!

Are you a pro present wrapper or do you fail miserably?

I start as a pro present wrapper. After about 3 or 4 presents I fail miserably and think it doesn’t matter it’s only going to be ripped open within seconds!

Most memorable Christmas moment?

When I was younger we always used to have huge family Christmases! It used to be fantastic with absolutely everybody and being young we used to get so many new toys to play with! Plus all the attention!

What made you realise the truth about Santa?

The truth about Santa? Obviously it means that traditionally he wears a green suit and that it was the Coca Cola advert that changed it to red! There are no other secrets about Santa!

What makes the holidays special for you?

Spending the time with family and it being a good excuse to get all the games out to play.
